2023-06-28image_type_tezi: add TI EULA to TI machinesEmanuele Ghidoli
Add TI-TFL ("TEXAS INSTRUMENTS TEXT FILE LICENSE") to TI tezi image artifact, while removing the NXP one. Current license file come from [1]. Disable the download of an updated license from a specific url, formerly used for NXP EULA, due to missing proper link. 2021-05-24tezi-metadata: set SSTATE_DUPWHITELISTMing Liu
We want to always check the latest EULA file in image_type_tezi.bbclass So we put LA_OPT_NXP_SW.html to sstate duplicate whitelist, this ensures it could be deployed to ${DEPLOY_DIR_IMAGE} as a backup even it's aleady existed. This fixes a following bitbake error: | ERROR: tezi-metadata-0.3-r0 do_deploy: The recipe tezi-metadata is | trying to install files into a shared area when those files already | exist. Those files and their manifest location are: | images/colibri-imx8x-v10b/LA_OPT_NXP_SW.html | (not matched to any task) | Please verify which recipe should provide the above files. 2019-03-04apalis/colibri-t20 -t30: drop machinesMax Krummenacher
These machines use an old Nvidia provided downstream kernel 3.1.10. They no longer much the way more recent sysroot components, e.g. libc, xserver et. al. The maintance burden to keep the userspace components in their old version becomes simply to high. Keep using the rocko based 2.8 BSP for these machines. The boot partition configuration needs to be done _after_ writing to the boot partition (hence after flashing SPL and U-Boot). This adds metadata files required by Toradex Easy Installer. Most notable is the Linux specific migration script which is executed before flashing an image. The script makes sure that hardware specific upgrades such as fuses/eMMC reconfiguration get executed, as our U-Boot based scripts do when using "run update".
