2022-09-18cyclic: Use schedule() instead of WATCHDOG_RESET()Stefan Roese
Globally replace all occurances of WATCHDOG_RESET() with schedule(), which handles the HW_WATCHDOG functionality and the cyclic infrastructure. 2020-02-05dm: core: Create a new header file for 'compat' featuresSimon Glass
At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers. One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox which needs to use the system malloc() in some files. Move the compatibility features into a separate header file. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-02-06bzlib: Try another way to fix an unused variableSimon Glass
Use __maybe_unused which should avoid the Coverity error. Reported-by: Coverity (CID: 134900) Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-01-20bzip2: Support compression for sandboxSimon Glass
Add the missing code to allow bzip2 compression to be used. This is useful for sandbox tests. These files are taken from the bzip2 1.0.6 release. The license text is copied to the top of each file as is done with other bzip2 files in U-Boot. The only other change is to squash a compiler warning with nBytes. 2015-11-10Various Makefiles: Add SPDX-License-Identifier tagsTom Rini
After consulting with some of the SPDX team, the conclusion is that Makefiles are worth adding SPDX-License-Identifier tags too, and most of ours have one. This adds tags to ones that lack them and converts a few that had full (or in one case, very partial) license blobs into the equivalent tag.
