2016-10-01ti_armv7_keystone2: Update addr_mon variableLokesh Vutla
As boot monitor contains a mkimage header, it can be loaded at any location. So, have a common addr_mon address across all keystone2 SoCs. And also making sure that boot monitor is installed early during default boot to avoid any overlapping with other images. 2016-03-15keystone2: env: Set mmc as default boot for k2g-evmYan Liu
For k2l, k2e and k2hk, ubi is set to default boot in uboot environment settings; while for k2g, mmc should be the default boot. 2016-03-15keystone2: env: add env script for booting with an initramfs with firmwareMurali Karicheri
This patch updates the env script to include a initramfs with firmware loaded and provided to kernel through second argument of bootz command during boot. Defined DEFAULT_FW_INITRAMFS_BOOT_ENV to have all of the required env variables and use it in evm specific config file. The K2 linux drivers for PCIe and NetCP (1G, 10G) requires serdes firmwares. These requires firmware to be available early through the boot process in some cases to satisfy firmware requests from driver. Hence use a small initramfs to provide the same and update boot env to accommodate this in the boot flow. This method is used when rootfs is nfs and ubifs. This fs contains just lib/firmware folder with all required firmware. When rootfs is on initramfs, then the filesystem has the firmware under lib/firmware and this early initramfs is not required and is not used. 2016-03-14ARM: keystone2: use SPD info to configure K2HK and K2E DDR3Vitaly Andrianov
This commit replaces hard-coded EMIF and PHY DDR3 configurations for predefined SODIMMs to a calculated configuration. The SODIMM parameters are read from SODIMM's SPD and used to calculated the configuration. The current commit supports calculation for DDR3 with 1600MHz and 1333MHz only. 2014-11-06keystone2: config: align names of images with MCSDKKhoronzhuk, Ivan

2014-11-06keystone2: config: restructure handling of default env settingsMurali Karicheri
Currently to customize env for various ks2 boards, individual variables such as NAME_FS etc are defined and included in the common config.h to define CONFIG_EXTRA_ENV_SETTINGS. This doesn't scale well if a variable is not applicable on a specific board. Using this scheme, we have to define variables with empty value and it's ugly. Instead, to allow board specific customization of default env variable, define a common CONFIG_EXTRA_ENV_KS2_SETTINGS for all common variables and define board specific variables in individual board specific config.h using CONFIG_EXTRA_ENV_KS2_BOARD_SETTINGS. Use the common and board specific variables to define CONFIG_EXTRA_ENV_SETTINGS. This way more variables can be added in future for individual boards without affecting the other config.h files. 2014-10-23soc: keystone_serdes: create a separate SGMII SerDes driverKhoronzhuk, Ivan
This patch split the Keystone II SGMII SerDes related code from Ethernet driver and create a separate SGMII SerDes driver. The SerDes driver can be used by others keystone subsystems like PCI, sRIO, so move it to driver/soc/keystone directory. Add soc specific drivers directory like in the Linux kernel. It is going to be used by keysotone soc specific drivers. Signed-off-by: Hao Zhang <hzhang@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Ivan Khoronzhuk <ivan.khoronzhuk@ti.com>

2014-10-23net: keystone_net: add support for NETCP v1.5Khoronzhuk, Ivan
Currently the network driver is used only by k2hk evm board. The k2hk SoC contains NETCP v1.0, but Keystone2 SoCs, like k2e contain NETCP v1.5. So driver should be able to work with such kind of NETCP. This commit adds this opportunity. The main difference in masks and some registers, the logic is the same, so only definitions should be changed. To differentiate between versions add KS2_NETCP_V1_0 and KS2_NETCP_V1_5. Also remove unused and no more needed defines. The port number is specific for each board so move this parameter to configuration. 2014-10-23dma: keystone_nav: generalize driver usageKhoronzhuk, Ivan
The keystone_nav driver is general driver intended to be used for working with queue manager and pktdma for different IPs like NETCP, AIF, FFTC, etc. So the it's API shouldn't be named like it works only with one of them, it should be general names. The names with prefix like netcp_* rather do for drivers/net/keystone_net.c driver. So it's good to generalize this driver to be used for different IP's and delete confusion with real NETCP driver. The current netcp_* functions of keystone navigator can be used for other settings of pktdma, not only for NETCP. The API of this driver is used by the keystone_net driver to work with NETCP, so net driver also should be corrected. For convenience collect pkdma configurations in drivers/dma/keystone_nav_cfg.c. 2014-10-23dma: keystone_nav: move keystone_nav driver to driver/dma/Khoronzhuk, Ivan
The keystone_nav is used by drivers/net/keystone_net.c driver to send and receive packets, but currently it's placed at keystone arch sources. So it should be in the drivers directory also. It's separate driver that can be used for sending and receiving pktdma packets by others drivers also. This patch just move this driver to appropriate directory and doesn't add any functional changes. 2014-07-25k2hk: use common KS2_ prefix for all hardware definitionsKhoronzhuk, Ivan
Use KS2_ prefix in all definitions, for that replace K2HK_ prefix and add KS2_ prefix where it's needed. It requires to change names also in places where they're used. Align lines and remove redundant definitions in kardware-k2hk.h at the same time. Using common KS2_ prefix helps resolve redundant redefinitions and adds opportunity to use KS2_ definition across a project not thinking about what SoC should be used. It's more convenient and we don't need to worry about the SoC type in common files, hardware.h will think about that. The hardware.h decides definitions of what SoC to use. 2014-07-25k2hk_evm: add script to automate NAND flash processKhoronzhuk, Ivan

2014-07-25mtd: nand: davinci: add opportunity to write keystone U-boot imageKhoronzhuk, Ivan
The Keystone SoCs use the same NAND driver as Davinci. This patch adds opportunity to write Keystone U-boot image to NAND device using appropriate RBL ECC layout. This is needed only if RBL boots U-boot from NAND device and that's supposed that raw u-boot partition is used only for writing image. The main problem is that default Davinci ECC layout is different from Keystone RBL layout. To read U-boot image the RBL needs that image was written using RBL ECC layout. The BBT table is written using default Davinci layout and has to be updated using one. The BBT can be updated only while erasing chip or by forced bad block assigning, so erase function has to use native ecc layout in order to be able to write BBT correctly. So if we're writing to NAND U-boot address we use RBL layout for others we use default ECC layout. Also remove definition for CONFIG_CMD_NAND_ECCLAYOUT as there is no reasons to use ECC layout commands. It was added by mistake. Signed-off-by: Ivan Khoronzhuk <ivan.khoronzhuk@ti.com>
