2022-04-20Kconfig: Change SYS_MALLOC_F_LEN default to 0x2000Tom Rini

- Rename usages of CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR to CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR based on current usage. - Convert CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR_LEN, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_BUS, CONFIG_CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_SIZE CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_BITS and CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_DELAY_MS to Kconfig. - In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. 2019-07-10ARM: uniphier_v8_defconfig: make 64bit SoC image position independentMasahiro Yamada
For a planned new SoC in this SoC family, the base address of the DRAM will be changed from 0x80000000 to 0x20000000. The PIE support will be useful to maintain multiple similar SoCs whose DRAM addresses differ. Now CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE is not important. Some users might want to modify 'bootcmd' at compile-time by editing include/configs/uniphier.h, but overwriting it at run-time makes it impossible. Instead, set 'bootdev' at run-time, which contains the boot device the system is booting from, then indirectly reference it from 'bootcmd'. It is up to users whether to override 'bootcmd'. 2018-02-05cmd: Make CONFIG_CMD_FPGA depend on CONFIG_FPGATuomas Tynkkynen
cmd/Makefile has: ifdef CONFIG_FPGA obj-$(CONFIG_CMD_FPGA) += fpga.o endif which means that if CONFIG_FPGA is not set, CONFIG_CMD_FPGA silently does nothing. Let's remove that Makefile conditional and instead express this equivalent dependency in Kconfig, so a lot of redundant # CONFIG_CMD_FPGA is not set can be removed from board defconfigs that don't actually have an FPGA. 2018-01-09ARM: uniphier: enable CONFIG_MMC_SDHCI_SDMA for ARMv8 SoCsMasahiro Yamada
I did not enable SDMA when I added sdhci-cadence support because LD20 boards are equipped with a large amount memory beyond 32 bit address range, but SDMA does not support the 64bit address. U-Boot relocates itself to the end of effectively available RAM. This would make the MMC enumeration fail because the buffer for EXT_CSD allocated in the stack would go too high, then SDMA would fail to transfer data. Recent SDHCI-compatible controllers support ADMA, but unfortunately U-Boot does not support ADMA. In the previous commit, I hided the DRAM area that exceeds the 32 bit address range.
