- Rename usages of CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR to CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR based on current usage. - Convert CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR_LEN, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_BUS, CONFIG_CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_SIZE CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_BITS and CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_DELAY_MS to Kconfig. 2021-07-20ARM: rmobile: Enable sysinfo on R-Car Gen3Marek Vasut
Enable support for sysinfo on supported R-Car Gen3 boards. The sysinfo is used e.g. to access and decode board-specific information and then in turn used by board-info to print those information. On R-Car Gen3 the sysinfo rcar3 driver is used to parse the board ID EEPROM, obtain board type and revision from it, and let board-info print this information on boot. - In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. 2019-05-21ARM: rmobile: Add recovery SPL for R-Car Gen3Marek Vasut
Build an SPL which can be started via SCIF download mode on R-Car Gen3 and allows loading and executing U-Boot uImage with the next stage code. This is also useful for starting e.g. ATF BL2, which inits the hardware and returns to the U-Boot SPL, which can then load e.g. U-Boot proper. The H3, M3-W, M3-N SoCs have plenty of SRAM for storing the U-Boot SPL while the payload, e.g. ATF BL2, executes, so there is no problem here. However, E3 and D3 have much less SRAM, hence the loader uses a trick where it copies itself beyond the area used by BL2 and executes from there. That area is 32kiB large and not enough to hold U-Boot SPL, BSS, stack and malloc area, so the later two are placed at +0x4000 offset from start of SRAM, another area not used by ATF BL2. To make things even more complicated, the SCIF loader cannot load to the upper 32kiB of the SRAM directly, hence the copying approach.
