2019-08-02Convert CONFIG_USE_PREBOOT and CONFIG_PREBOOT to KconfigSimon Glass
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_USE_PREBOOT CONFIG_PREBOOT Both are together in one commit, since otherwise the former causes kconfig to define the latter, which gives duplicate symbol errors. The name CONFIG_LEGACY_IMAGE_FORMAT reads slightly better along with allowing us to avoid a rather nasty Kbuild/Kconfig issue down the line with CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(IMAGE_FORMAT_LEGACY). With the recent SPI changes, the ids8313 board won't compile anymore. Until further information from the manufacturer, disable SPI support, so that the board will at least compile again. 2019-05-21mpc83xx: Kconfig: Migrate HRCW to KconfigMario Six
The HRCW (hardware reset configuration word) is a constant that must be hard-coded into the boot loader image. So, it must be available at compile time, and cannot be migrated to the DT mechanism, but has to be kept in Kconfig. Configuration of this crucial variable should still be somewhat comfortable. 2019-05-21mpc83xx: Get rid of CONFIG_83XX_CLKINMario Six
MPC83xx uses CONFIG_83XX_CLKIN instead of CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to set the system clock. To migrate the architecture, we can replace CONFIG_83XX_CLKIN with CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ. 2018-04-27Convert CONFIG_SPI to KconfigAdam Ford
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SPI This partly involves updating code that assumes that CONFIG_SPI implies things that are specific to the MPC8xx SPI driver. For now, just update the CONFIG tests. This also involves reworking the default for CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR so that we don't set it when we cannot make a reasonable default, as it does not cause any compile failures. 2018-02-25bootcount: Migrate CONFIG_SYS_BOOTCOUNT_ADDRTom Rini
Migrate the users of CONFIG_SYS_BOOTCOUNT_ADDR to Kconfig. We can provide a default for BOOTCOUNT_AM33XX as that's a specific part of the RTC in use. We can also provide a default for ARCH_LS1043A and ARCH_LS1021A as they had been previously calculated and their symbols are in Kconfig. In the case of other QE-enabled platforms, they are not so we must update the relevant defconfig files. The previous default only applied in some cases, even on a specific SoC family. We repeated partial moves for CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH, but this is not completed. Finish this work by the tool. During this move, let's rename it to CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH. Actually, we have more instances of "#ifndef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH" than those of "#ifdef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH". Flipping the logic will make the code more readable. 2016-12-29mmc: complete unfinished move of CONFIG_MMCMasahiro Yamada
Commit 7a777f6d6f35 ("mmc: Add generic Kconfig option") created a Kconfig entry for this option without any actual moves, then commit 44c798799f66 ("sunxi: Use Kconfig CONFIG_MMC") moved instances only for SUNXI. We generally do not like such partial moves. This kind of work is automated by tools/moveconfig.py, so it is pretty easy to complete this move. I am adding "default ARM || PPC || SANDBOX" (suggested by Tom). This shortens the configs and will ease new board porting.
