For SPI controllers that cannot support 4-byte addressing, (stm32_qspi.c, fsl_qspi.c, mtk_qspi.c, ich.c, renesas_rpc_spi.c) add an imply clause to enable SPI_FLASH_BAR so as to not break functionality. 2019-02-05pci: pci_mvebu: Add DM_PCI support and move CONFIG_PCI_MVEBU to defconfigStefan Roese
This patch adds DM_PCI support to the MVEBU PCIe driver. This is necessary, since all PCI drivers have to be moved to DM (driver model) until the v2019.07 release. To not break git bisect'ablility, this patch also moves CONFIG_PCI_MVEBU from config headers to the defconfig files. We have the following cases: - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was defined, migrate normally - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS_MAX was defined and then used for CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS after a check, just migrate it over now. - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was very oddly defined on p2771-0000-* (to 1024 + 2), set this to 8. 2018-08-06mvebu: select boot device at SoC levelBaruch Siach
Move the gdsys Controlcenter DC specific build time kwbimage.cfg generation code into the mach-mvebu/ directory to be shared by all 32bit mvebu platforms. Remove board specific kwbimage.cfg files, and use the generated one instead. These files are all identical, with two exceptions. Clearfog and Helios4 use the sdio boot device, whereas all others use spi. Update the defconfigs for the exceptional boards to generate the same kwbimage.cfg as before. 2017-11-16arm: mvebu: clearfog: Fix SPI-NOR flash accessJon Nettleton
The production variant of the SPI flash used by the clearfog devices are based on winbond chips. Additionally enable SPI_FLASH_BAR since some variants will have 16MB of flash that requires this to be enabled. Remove the default speed and mode; these values are taken from the device tree when CONFIG_DM_SPI_FLASH is enabled. Add default bus, so that 'sf' detects the SPI flash by default. 2017-07-25Convert CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC/NAND/UBI and NOWHERE to KconfigSimon Glass
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_NAND CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_UBI CONFIG_ENV_IS_NOWHERE In fact this already exists for sunxi as a 'choice' config. However not all the choices are available in Kconfig yet so we cannot use that. It would lead to more than one option being set. In addition, one purpose of this series is to allow the environment to be stored in more than one place. So the existing choice is converted to a normal config allowing each option to be set independently. There are not many opportunities for Kconfig updates to reduce the size of this patch. This was tested with ./tools/moveconfig.py -i CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC And then manual updates. This is because for CHAIN_OF_TRUST boards they can only have ENV_IS_NOWHERE set, so we enforce that via Kconfig logic now. This reverts commit 90c08d9e08c7a108ab904f3bbdeb558081757892. I took a closer look at this after the commit was applied, and found CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_F_LEN=0x2000 was too much. 8KB memory for SPL is actually too big for some boards. Perhaps 0x800 is enough, but the situation varies board by board. Let's postpone our decision until we come up with a better idea.
