2022-11-10Convert CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN to KconfigTom Rini
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN To do this, we set a default of 0 for everyone because there are a number of cases where we define CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN but the only impact is that we set TOTAL_MALLOC_LEN to be CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN + CONFIG_ENV_SIZE, so we must continue to allow all boards to set this value. Update the SPL code to use 200 KB as the default raw U-Boot size directly, if we don't have a real CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN value. 2022-06-06Migrate CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to Kconfig using system-constants.hTom Rini
- Make all users of CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR reference SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR - Introduce HAS_CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to allow for setting the stack pointer directly, otherwise we use the common calculation. - On some platforms that were using the standard calculation but did not set CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE / CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_ADDR, set them. - On a small number of platforms that were not subtracting GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE do so now via the standard calculation. - CONFIG_SYS_INIT_SP_OFFSET is now widely unused, so remove it from most board config header files. 2021-01-22configs: at91: Fix the involuntarily disablement of NAND PMECCTudor Ambarus
SPL_GENERATE_ATMEL_PMECC_HEADER selects: ATMEL_NAND_HWECC [=y] && ATMEL_NAND_HW_PMECC [=y]. With the removal of SPL_GENERATE_ATMEL_PMECC_HEADER, ATMEL_NAND_HW_PMECC and ATMEL_NAND_HWECC were no longer selected. Also, when the SPL_GENERATE_ATMEL_PMECC_HEADER was removed, the configs were not updated using savedefconfig, thus the 'commit d168bcb6fe39 ("configs: Resync with savedefconfig")' further removes the CONFIG_PMECC_CAP value. Update defconfigs and add CONFIG_ATMEL_NAND_HW_PMECC, which selects ATMEL_NAND_HWECC, in order to restore NAND PMECC support. Restore CONFIG_PMECC_CAP value. 2019-08-25mtd: nand: raw: Move CONFIG_SYS_NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT to KconfigStefan Roese
Convert CONFIG_SYS_NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT to Kconfig, update defconfigs, headers and whitelist. Please note that this symbol already was used in Kconfig (imply in CONFIG_NAND_ATMEL) which did not work, since this symbol was not available in Kconfig. This changes now with this patch and all boards with CONFIG_NAND_ATMEL will have BBT enabled. Which is what I also need on my GARDENA AT91SAM based board. 2019-07-09at91, omap2plus: configs: migrate CONFIG_ENV_ to defconfigsMarkus Klotzbuecher
Enable the extended ENV options for AT91 and OMAP2PLUS in order to be able to use CONFIG_ENV_UBI_* on these architectures. As this change also makes the configs ENV_SIZE, ENV_SECT_SIZE, ENV_OFFSET visible to AT91 and OMAP2PLUS, migrate users of these to KConfig. This migration was run using an extended moveconfig.py which evaluates expressions such as "(512 << 10)". See patch ("moveconfig: expand simple expressions"). All modified boards were built with SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH=0 before and after the change and successfully confirmed that the identical binary is generated (the only exception was igep00x0, which does not define CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_UBI in the original board header. SPL_GENERATE_ATMEL_PMECC_HEADER will generate a header for the SPL for NAND information. The initial stage 1 bootloader will use this header in case the NAND flash doesn't support commands to retrieve sector size, etc. However this header is bad for different boot media, like MMC or SPI.
