- Rename usages of CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR to CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR based on current usage. - Convert CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR_LEN, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_BUS, CONFIG_CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_SIZE CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_BITS and CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_DELAY_MS to Kconfig. 2021-07-15ti: am335x_evm: Switch to DISTRO_BOOT onlyTom Rini
Remove the environment support for various legacy boot methods. Separate CMD_FASTBOOT from FASTBOOT and move code and configuration to drivers/fastboot. Switch dependencies on FASTBOOT to USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT as anyone who wants FASTBOOT before this series wants USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT. Split USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT from FASTBOOT so they retain their existing behaviour. This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SPI This partly involves updating code that assumes that CONFIG_SPI implies things that are specific to the MPC8xx SPI driver. For now, just update the CONFIG tests. This also involves reworking the default for CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR so that we don't set it when we cannot make a reasonable default, as it does not cause any compile failures. We first introduce CONFIG_USE_BOOTCOMMAND, similar to CONFIG_USE_BOOTARGS. We then migrate CONFIG_BOOTCOMMAND for most CONFIG_DISTRO_DEFAULT users. In some cases platforms have a complex scheme around this usage, and these have been defered for the moment so that platform maintainers can work on a migration plan. 2017-07-11configs: am335x_evm: Enable FASTBOOT based on kconfigAlexandru Gagniuc
When CONFIG_CMD_FASTBOOT or CONFIG_USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT are defined in am335x_evm.h, a dependency on g_dnl.c is created. This in turn creates a dependency on having USB gadget enabled. As a result we can't create configs with USB gadget disabled. Since these CONFIG_ variables are now part of kconfig, move them to the board defconfigs, and out of am335x_evm.h. 2017-04-27ARM: omap2+: rename config to ARCH_OMAP2PLUS and consolidate KconfigMasahiro Yamada
In Linux, CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2PLUS is used for OMAP2 or later SoCs. Rename CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2 to CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2PLUS to follow this naming. Move the OMAP2+ board/SoC choice down to mach-omap2/Kconfig to slim down the arch/arm/Kconfig level.
