2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-03-16Convert all of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX to KconfigTom Rini
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_CONS_INDEX We have existing entries for this option in a number of places, with different guards on them. They're also sometimes used for things not directly inside of the serial driver. First, introduce a new symbol to guard the use of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX, so that in the case where we don't need this for the serial driver, but for some other use, we can still do it. Next, consolidate all of these into the single entry in drivers/serial/Kconfig. Finally, introduce CONS_INDEX_[023456] so that we can imply a correct value here to make the defconfig side of this smaller. 2018-03-05spl: Kconfig: Rename SPL_USBETH_SUPPORT to SPL_USB_ETHER to match with the ↵Faiz Abbas
U-boot CONFIG Rename CONFIG_SPL_USBETH_SUPPORT to CONFIG_SPL_USB_ETHER. This enables users to block text using CONFIG_IS_ENABLED() instead of resorting to #if ladders with SPL and non-SPL cases. Signed-off-by: Faiz Abbas <faiz_abbas@ti.com>
2017-08-16env: Rename getenv_hex(), getenv_yesno(), getenv_ulong()Simon Glass
We are now using an env_ prefix for environment functions. Rename these for consistency. Also add function comments in common.h. Suggested-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2017-08-16env: Rename getenv/_f() to env_get()Simon Glass
We are now using an env_ prefix for environment functions. Rename these two functions for consistency. Also add function comments in common.h. Quite a few places use getenv() in a condition context, provoking a warning from checkpatch. These are fixed up in this patch also. 2017-08-16env: Rename eth_setenv_enetaddr() to eth_env_set_enetaddr()Simon Glass
Rename this function for consistency with env_set(). Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2017-08-16env: Rename setenv() to env_set()Simon Glass
We are now using an env_ prefix for environment functions. Rename setenv() for consistency. Also add function comments in common.h. Suggested-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2017-08-15env: Drop env_relocate_spec() in favour of env_load()Simon Glass
This is a strange name for a function that loads the environment. There is now only one implementation of this function, so use the new env_load() function directly instead. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2015-11-10Various Makefiles: Add SPDX-License-Identifier tagsTom Rini
After consulting with some of the SPDX team, the conclusion is that Makefiles are worth adding SPDX-License-Identifier tags too, and most of ours have one. This adds tags to ones that lack them and converts a few that had full (or in one case, very partial) license blobs into the equivalent tag. 2015-08-05usb: musb-new: CONFIG_MUSB prefix replacement with CONFIG_USB_MUSBPaul Kocialkowski
USB-related options are usually prefixed with CONFIG_USB and platform-specific adaptation for the MUSB controller already have a CONFIG_USB_MUSB prefix, so this switches all MUSB-related options to a CONFIG_USB_MUSB prefix, for consistency. Signed-off-by: Paul Kocialkowski <contact@paulk.fr>
