2014-07-23stdio: Remove redundant code around stdio_register() callsSimon Glass
There is no point in setting a structure's memory to NULL when it has already been zeroed with memset(). Also, there is no need to create a stub function for stdio to call - if the function is NULL it will not be called. This is a clean-up, with no change in functionality. 2012-02-03Blackfin: easylogo: add lzma logosMike Frysinger
The bf527-ezkit boards are getting too big to fit into their reserved flash space, so we need to use a lzma compressed logo. Since the video driver code is very similar, add lzma compressed support to all of the Blackfin video drivers. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2010-10-02Blackfin: bf548-ezkit: video: convert from old style MMR macrosMike Frysinger
The old MMR defines are being scrubbed, so convert the driver to use the new standard helper macros. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2010-08-11Blackfin: shutdown video DMA when booting LinuxMichael Hennerich
In case there is no frame buffer driver present in Linux to hand over the PPI LCD DMA upon boot, the DMA initiated by u-boot to display the splash screen runs unattended. Therefore always stop the video driver in u-boot before starting Linux. If people don't want this behavior, then they can simply stub out the video_stop() function in their board video driver. 2010-07-13Blackfin: bf548-ezkit: convert to portmux frameworkMike Frysinger
Rather than bang MMRs directly, use the new portmux framework to handle the details. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2009-12-21move prototypes for gunzip() and zunzip() to common.hWolfgang Wegner
Prototype for gunzip/zunzip was only in lib_generic/gunzip.c and thus repeated in every file using it. This patch moves the prototypes to common.h and removes all prototypes distributed anywhere else. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Wegner <w.wegner@astro-kom.de>
2009-07-18stdio/device: rework function naming conventionJean-Christophe PLAGNIOL-VILLARD
So far the console API uses the following naming convention: ======Extract====== typedef struct device_t; int device_register (device_t * dev); int devices_init (void); int device_deregister(char *devname); struct list_head* device_get_list(void); device_t* device_get_by_name(char* name); device_t* device_clone(device_t *dev); ======= which is too generic and confusing. Instead of using device_XX and device_t we change this into stdio_XX and stdio_dev This will also allow to add later a generic device mechanism in order to have support for multiple devices and driver instances.
