2022-05-23ARM: dts: sunxi: H2+/H3/H5: Sync from Linux v5.18-rc1Samuel Holland
Copy the devicetree source for the H2+/H3/H5 SoCs and all existing boards from the Linux v5.18-rc1 tag. To maintain ABI compatibility with existing LTS kernels, one change moving some IP blocks to the r_intc interrupt controller is excluded. This effectively reverts Linux commits 994e5818392c and 9fdef3c3d8c2. This commit also adds the following new board devicetree: - sun8i-h3-nanopi-r1.dts This update should not impact any existing U-Boot functionality. Signed-off-by: Samuel Holland <samuel@sholland.org>
2022-03-26sunxi: dts: Update RGMII phy-mode propertiesAndre Przywara
Commit f11513d99787 ("net: phy: realtek: Add tx/rx delay config for 8211e") made the Realtek PHY driver honour the phy-mode DT property, to set up the proper delay scheme for the RX and TX lines. A similar change in the kernel revealed that those properties were mostly wrong. The kernel DTs got updated over the last few months, but we were missing out on the U-Boot version. Just sync in the phy-mode properties from the mainline kernel, v5.17-rc7, to avoid the breaking DT sync that late in the cycle. This fixes Ethernet operation on the affected boards. 2020-01-24sunxi: H3/H5 Sync DT files from upstream Linux kernel as of next-20200108Chen-Yu Tsai
Sync the device tree files and device tree header files from upstream Linux kernel, as of 2020-01-08. The commit synced to in the sunxi repo 98d25b0b266d Merge branch 'sunxi/dt-for-5.6' into sunxi/for-next which is also part of next-20200108. Changes brought in include: - cleanup of pinmux node names - addition of Security ID, MBUS, CSI, crypto engine, video codec, pmu, and thermal sensor device nodes for both SoCs - addition of deinterlacing engine device node on H3 - cleanup of RTC device node and addition of its clocks - various board cleanups and improvements - removal of pinmux node for GPIO lines - cpufreq / DVFS - HDMI output - UART-based Bluetooth - audio codec - USB ports - new boards Most of the changes don't concern U-boot. 2019-02-18sunxi: Sync Bananapi M2+ device tree from Linux v5.0-rc1Chen-Yu Tsai
As of commit aa8fee415f46 ("ARM: dts: sun8i: h3: Split out non-SoC-specific parts of Bananapi M2 Plus") in the Linux kernel, the device tree for the Bananapi M2+ has been split into a common dtsi file, and an SoC-specific board device tree file that includes both the shared dtsi file and the soc dtsi file. This was done to support both the H3 and H5 variants of the same board. This is similar to what was done for the Libre Computer ALL-H3-CC in U-boot commit d7b17f1c24af ("sunxi: Split out common board design for ALL-H3-CC device tree"). The newly split files are directly synced from Linux tag v5.0-rc1. Signed-off-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Reviewed-by: Jagan Teki <jagan@openedev.com>
