2024-03-21arm: dts: k3-*: Add memory node at R5 stageNeha Malcom Francis
Add the bootph-pre-ram property to the memory node so that it can be accessed by FDT functions at R5 stage. The fdt_setup_mem*() functions require the memory node to be able to initialize and set the size of the DRAM banks. For this purpose, make sure all memory nodes are present and standardized, and add them if not. Also make sure they have bootph-pre-ram property so that it can be accessible at R5 SPL stage. 2023-09-26arm/dts/k3-am654-base-board: Add I2C I/O expanderRavi Gunasekaran
AM654 baseboard has two TCA9554 I/O expander on the WKUP_I2C0 bus. The expander at address 0x38 is used to detect daughter cards. Add a node for this I/O expander. Signed-off-by: Ravi Gunasekaran <r-gunasekaran@ti.com>
2021-10-03arm: ti: k3: Resync dts files and bindings with Linux Kernel v5.14Tom Rini
This resyncs the dts files for all of the currently in-tree K3 platforms, along with relevant bindings, with the v5.14 Linux Kernel release. Of note are that the main-navss/mcu-navss nodes were renamed to main_navss / mcu_navss and so the u-boot.dtsi files needed to be updated to match. Tested on j721e_evm and am65x_evm. Sync all AM65 related v5.11-rc6 Linux kernel dts into U-Boot. Signed-off-by: Lokesh Vutla <lokeshvutla@ti.com>
2021-02-04arm: dts: k3-am654-base-board: Limit Sd card to High speed modesFaiz Abbas
There's an issue with the base board in which the power cycle circuit takes way longer to power down than expected by mmc core. code. This prevents the card from enumerating in UHS modes. Disable UHS modes for this board until a new board revision fixes the issue. Signed-off-by: Faiz Abbas <faiz_abbas@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Aswath Govindraju <a-govindraju@ti.com>
2021-02-04arm: dts: k3-am65: Fix mmc nodesFaiz Abbas
Because of fundamental interface issues in am65x pg1, only the initial sdhci1 node at 25 MHz was added in the u-boot.dtsi from which both the base-board.dts and r5-base-board.dts inherit the node. Move the node out to k3-am65-main.dtsi where it belongs and add the board specific properties in base-board.dts and r5-base-board.dts This ensures dts compatibility with the kernel dts in the base-board.dts and enables the SD card interface at 50 MHz and High Speed mode While we are here, also fix the main_mmc0_pins_default property to be included and inherit from the base-board.dts instead of the u-boot.dtsi Signed-off-by: Faiz Abbas <faiz_abbas@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Aswath Govindraju <a-govindraju@ti.com>
2020-04-14arm: dts: k3-am654: Increase OSPI default frequency to 50MHzVignesh Raghavendra
In 1 bit mode OSPI can work at upto 50MHz, this provides better write performance. Therefore increase frequency from 40MHz to 50MHz Signed-off-by: Vignesh Raghavendra <vigneshr@ti.com>
2020-03-03arm: dts: k3-am654-base-board: Enable I2C nodesVignesh Raghavendra
Add DT nodes for main domain I2Cs and its slave devices Signed-off-by: Vignesh Raghavendra <vigneshr@ti.com>
2020-03-03ARM: dts: k3-am65: Add OSPI DT nodesVignesh Raghavendra
Add OSPI DT nodes to enable OSPI at U-Boot prompt and also to support OSPI boot. Signed-off-by: Vignesh Raghavendra <vigneshr@ti.com>
2020-01-20arm: dts: k3-am654-base-board: enable USB1Vignesh Raghavendra
Add pinmux for USB1 and enable it as a peripheral port in U-Boot specific dtsi since U-Boot does not support OTG. Disable USB0 as its not available on the baseboard. Signed-off-by: Vignesh Raghavendra <vigneshr@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Lokesh Vutla <lokeshvutla@ti.com>
2019-10-11arm: dts: k3-am65-mcu: Add MCU domain R5F DT nodesSuman Anna
The AM65x SoCs has a single dual-core Arm Cortex-R5F processor subsystem/cluster (MCU_R5FSS0) within the MCU domain. This cluster can be configured at boot time to be either run in a LockStep mode or in an Asymmetric Multi Processing (AMP) fashion in Split-mode. This subsystem has 64 KB each Tightly-Coupled Memory (TCM) internal memories for each core split between two banks - ATCM and BTCM (further interleaved into two banks). There are some IP integration differences from standard Arm R5 clusters such as the absence of an ACP port, presence of an additional TI-specific Region Address Translater (RAT) module for translating 32-bit CPU addresses into larger system bus addresses etc. Add the DT node for the MCU domain R5F cluster/subsystem, the two R5 cores are added as child nodes to the main cluster/subsystem node. The cluster is configured to run in Split-mode by default, with the ATCMs enabled to allow the R5 cores to execute code from DDR with boot-strapping code from ATCM. The inter-processor communication between the main A72 cores and these processors is achieved through shared memory and Mailboxes. 2019-07-17arm64: dts: k3-am654-base-board: Add I2C GPIO expander @ 0x38Andreas Dannenberg
The AM654 base board has a TCA9554/PCA9554-type GPIO expander on the wkup_i2c0 bus at address 0x38 that is used to detect the presence of daughter cards. Add a respective DTS description of this expander to enable its use. Signed-off-by: Andreas Dannenberg <dannenberg@ti.com> Reviewed-by: Lokesh Vutla <lokeshvutla@ti.com>
2019-07-17arm: dts: k3-am654-base-board: Enable wkup_i2c0 across all boot stagesAndreas Dannenberg
To enable the use of an EEPROM-based board detection scheme we need to be able to access the I2C bus associated with the EEPROMs across all 3 stages of U-Boot: R5 SPL, A53 SPL, and A53 U-Boot (proper). So go ahead and add/update the wkup_i2c0 peripheral module DTS definitions and its associated pinmux node accordingly. 2019-07-17arm64: dts: k3: Sync sdhci0 node from kernel and change driver nameFaiz Abbas
Sync the sdhci0 node from kernel. This changes the compatible that is required to be there in the driver. Change the same for the SD card node which is not yet supported in kernel. This also syncs the main_pmx0 node as a side effect. Also change the name of the driver to match the compatible in kernel.
