2021-10-03arm: ti: k3: Resync dts files and bindings with Linux Kernel v5.14Tom Rini
This resyncs the dts files for all of the currently in-tree K3 platforms, along with relevant bindings, with the v5.14 Linux Kernel release. Of note are that the main-navss/mcu-navss nodes were renamed to main_navss / mcu_navss and so the u-boot.dtsi files needed to be updated to match. Tested on j721e_evm and am65x_evm. 2021-02-04remoteproc: k3_r5: Sync to upstreamed kernel DT property namesSuman Anna
The K3 R5F remoteproc driver in U-Boot was upstreamed prior to the equivalent remoteproc driver in the Linux kernel. Some of the DT properties used in U-Boot got upstreamed using different names in Linux kernel. The modified property names include the R5F cluster mode configuration property "lockstep-mode"; and three different individual R5F core config properties - "atcm-enable", "btcm-enable" and "loczrama". The property names were updated as follows: lockstep-mode => ti,cluster-mode atcm-enable => ti,atcm-enable btcm-enable => ti,btcm-enable loczrama => ti,loczrama Update the K3 R5F remoteproc driver, the corresponding binding, and all the existing usage in AM65x, J721E and J7200 dts files all at once to use the new properties and to not break any bisectability. 2020-08-31arm: dts: k3-am65: Update the RM resource typesLokesh Vutla
Update the ringacc and udma dt nodes to use the latest RM resource types similar to the ones used in k3-j721e dt nodes. Signed-off-by: Lokesh Vutla <lokeshvutla@ti.com>
2020-08-11arm: dts: k3: Add RTI watchdogsJan Kiszka
Add DT entries for main domain watchdog0 and 1 instances on the J721e well as RTI1-based watchdog on the AM65x. RTI0 does not work for this purpose on the AM65x, so leave it out. On AM65x, we mark the power-domain as shared because RTI firmware such as https://github.com/siemens/k3-rti-wdt may request it as well in order to prevent accidental shutdown of the watchdog. 2019-10-11arm: dts: k3-am65-mcu: Add MCU domain R5F DT nodesSuman Anna
The AM65x SoCs has a single dual-core Arm Cortex-R5F processor subsystem/cluster (MCU_R5FSS0) within the MCU domain. This cluster can be configured at boot time to be either run in a LockStep mode or in an Asymmetric Multi Processing (AMP) fashion in Split-mode. This subsystem has 64 KB each Tightly-Coupled Memory (TCM) internal memories for each core split between two banks - ATCM and BTCM (further interleaved into two banks). There are some IP integration differences from standard Arm R5 clusters such as the absence of an ACP port, presence of an additional TI-specific Region Address Translater (RAT) module for translating 32-bit CPU addresses into larger system bus addresses etc. Add the DT node for the MCU domain R5F cluster/subsystem, the two R5 cores are added as child nodes to the main cluster/subsystem node. The cluster is configured to run in Split-mode by default, with the ATCMs enabled to allow the R5 cores to execute code from DDR with boot-strapping code from ATCM. The inter-processor communication between the main A72 cores and these processors is achieved through shared memory and Mailboxes.
