Remove video=tegrafb0:640x480-16@60 aka VESA VGA mode from vidargs in order for the panel specification in the device tree to be used. This causes the default to be the 10.1" LVDS display which will be available in the Toradex webshop shortly. 2018-09-28colibri_t20: fix sdbootMarcel Ziswiler
Currently, the Colibri T20 sdboot variable tries to load the kernel from the second MMC/SD device instance. However, given the Colibri T20 having on-module NAND flash the MMC/SD card is actually the primary instance. Fix this to load the kernel and device tree from the first (typically FAT) partition of the MMC/SD card as customary on all Toradex modules. 2018-09-13colibri_vf: Fix sdboot in vf modulesGerard Salvatella
Currently Vybrids sdboot variable tries to load the kernel from /boot of the root partition (typically second partition when using the sdcard image). However, since we moved to flash the kernel in a separate UBI volume, we no longer deploy the kernel/device tree to /boot, hence sdboot does not work in its current state. Load the kernel and device tree from the first (typically FAT) partition as customary on all Toradex modules. Currently $loadaddr and $fdt_addr_r point to the same address. This might be not ideal for some distro boot scripts which make use of $loadaddr after loading the device tree. Make sure the two variables point to two different addresses. Moving $loadaddr is not entirly trivial since it is defined in mx6_common.h. The i.MX 6UL/ULL feature a Cortex-A7 CPU which suppor the ARM generic timer. This change makes use of the ARM generic timer in U-Boot. This is crucial to make the ARM generic timers usable in Linux since timer_init() initalizes the system counter module, which is necessary to use the generic timers CP15 registers. It turns out that OpenSSL calls undefined instructions to detect ARM capabilities at runtime (via SIGILL handler). This leads to stack traces e.g. when logging in using SSH: [ 877.464442] sshd (613): undefined instruction: pc=76ee2da8 ... Support the V1.2 hardware revision with the following pin muxing changes: Ddc_scl_pv4 and ddc_sda_pv5 previously used as Apalis GPIO3 and GPIO4 are now used as DDC pins. Gen2_i2c_scl_pt5 and gen2_i2c_sda_pt6 previously used as DDC pins are now used as USB power enable signals. Usb_vbus_en0_pn4 and usb_vbus_en1_pn5 previously used as USB power enable signals are now used as GPIO3 and GPIO4. Additionally a new device tree file tegra124-apalis-v1.2-eval.dtb is loaded on V1.2 and later modules and resp. USB power enable signals activated.
